Another week over .500 and another week we are ready to jump in and get it going. Now 6 over .500 for the season, with some huge matchups on the docket, its time to get 10 over .500!
Chargers (-6.5) vs. Tennessee: The Titans offense is putrid. It will not travel with the team to London. The Chargers are on a roll and the duo of Rivers and Gordon put up enough points to cover.
Patriots (-3) @ Bears: I do not trust a 2nd year QB like Trubisky against the Pats. Yes they are at home, but if the Bears let Albert Wilson look like Jerry Rice, I expect Edelman, Gronk and Gordon to go off.
Browns (+3.5) @ Bucs: The Browns have a great schedule the next four weeks to decimate their opponents secondaries. It starts with the Bucs. And the Browns have the better defense. Give me the Browns on the road to win outright.
Lions (-3) @ Dolphins: The Bears had every opportunity to go into Miami and crush Brock Osweiler and the Fins. They failed. I do not expect Matt Stafford and the talented group of receivers to have the same fate. Give me the Lions big.
Eagles (-5) vs. Panthers: The Panthers are not the same team on the road as they are at home as evident by subpar performance by them last week in Washington. Eagles roll at home by double digits.
Colts (-7.5) vs. Bills: 2 words. Derek Anderson. Colts win.
Vikings (-3.5) @ Jets: The people in New York are ready to anoint Todd Bowles the best coach in the league after wins against Denver and Indy. Go beat Kirk Cousins and the Vikings. Try stopping Thielen and Diggs. Good luck coach! Vikings big.
Texans (+4.5) @ Jaguars: The Texans come in on a win streak while the Jags come in licking their wounds after getting exposed by the Chiefs and Cowboys. With how the Boys looked last week, I expect Hopkins, Fuller and Watson to have their way moving the ball. And with it being +4.5, we win, when they lose close too!
Saints (+3) @ Ravens: This screams of a backdoor cover. Brees is 0-4 lifetime against Baltimore with 9 TD to 8 INT. But with Mark Ingram back, they keep this close and despite losing on the road, cover.
Redskins (-1.5) vs. Cowboys: I do not buy into the Cowboys despite them throttling the Jags. They just lost to the Texans and the Skins at home have proven to be a solid bet. Just ask Carolina and Green Bay.
Rams (-9.5) @ 49ers: Goff and Gurley vs. Beathard and ..Breida? Advantage Rams
Chiefs (-6) vs. Bengals: This game has shootout potential, but on this Sunday night, Mahomes re-establishes himself as the MVP candidate. Dalton will not be able to keep pace into the 4th quarter and the Chiefs defense makes enough plays to cover the spread.
Falcons (-4.5) vs. Giants: The Giants are a mess. Despite their offensive firepower, they are not on the same page, the locker room is in disarray and Eli is being thrown under the bus. For as bad as the Falcons defense has been, the Giants have been equally disappointing.
