JR Smith Blows Game! JR Smith Mistake costs LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. JR Smith didn’t know the game was tied, and after George Hill missed his free throw Smith grabbed the rebound and let the clock run out. This cam after the refs overturned a charging call on Kevin Durant and penalized James with a blocking foul.

Many people didn’t want to see a 4th straight NBA Finals series between the Golden State and Cleveland, but game one was everything any basketball fan could hope for. Lebron James scored 51 points. Stephen Curry was great from 3 point range, Tristan Thompson was ejected after hitting Draymond Green in the face, and there was controversy in the final minutes with the refs, and a gaff by JR Smith that will never be forgotten. The Warriors got the win in overtime 124-114, and the question know is if LeBron James has enough gas in the tank to repeat his performance in game one to hang with Curry, Durant, Thompson, & Green.
