Roger Goodell apparently ran a 5.41 40 yard dash in the NFL offices. The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to place the franchise tag on running back Le’Veon Bell for the second straight year. Bell is threatening to retire if he doesn’t get a long term deal. Bell has been one of the most productive backs in the league since 2013. The Oakland Raiders have released Aldon Smith after he fled from the police involving a domestic violence incident, and eventually checked himself into a rehab facility, and an unnamed AFC team offered the Philadelphia Eagles a 2nd round pick for quarterback Nick Foles. The Eagles will accept no less than a 1st and a 4th, which is what they got in exchange for Sam Bradford.
