The NFL announced that they will be making a tutorial, or “educational” video for the players to help them learn which on field celebrations will be acceptable for the 2017 season. Green Bay Packers tight end Martellus Bennett has already stated that he will not be watching this stupid thing.
In order to help guys like Bennett, we hear at That’s Good Sports received a copy of the educational video and decided to post it, despite warning from the NFL that we cannot. There are some shocking things in this video and the public needs to know how the brains at NFL headquarters think.
These new rules will effect many players like, Von Miller of the Denver Broncos, Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Marquette King of the Oakland…Las Vegas Raiders, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Odell Beckham Jr. of the New York Giants. J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans is being touted as the perfect example on how to celebrate after a good play or touchdown, as is Justin Tucker, kicker for the Baltimore Ravens. Even Ezekiel Elliott’s feed me celebration is being promoted as it subliminally makes football viewers hungry.
Some rules remain. Dunking on goalposts is still not allowed as it’s a safety concern and it promotes the NBA. In fact any celebration promoting other sports like soccer or golf is forbidden.
