Maybe I’m only speaking for myself, but the first thing I learned about Joey Chestnut is that he is a super cool guy. Right? Did you watch?

You probably know Joey best as, The Champion. World Record Holder in the Nathan’s 4th of July Hot Dog Eating contest held by our friends at Major League Eating. The number you ask, 70. Ya, 70 hot dogs in 10 minutes.

My favorite part is the drive. He sounds/seems relentless in his quest to be the best. It oozes out of him.

Another thing I learned: He would love to challenge Babe Ruth to a hot dog and beer chugging contest. Could you imagine how awesome that would be? Joey is the champ, but the Babe, man, that would be something to behold.

Joey is en route to another 4th of July Championship and we will certainly be cheering for him.
