I don’t know if Miami actually does indeed rhyme with Yummy, but if Pedro says it does than it must.
Pedro Martinez appeared on a Celebrity edition of Family Feud and even though the survey did not say Miami for words that rhyme with yummy, we probably found a new way to refer to South Beach: MiYummy!
This answer was still better than former NBA player Gary Payton’s, who said Hummy when asked for words that rhyme with yummy.
By the way…Pedro Martinez pitched in MLB for 18 seasons, he has a career 2.93 era and an eye popping 3,154 strike outs to go along with ONLY 760 walks. That’s a 10/2.4 strike out/walk ratio per every nine innings pitched.
