The Denver Broncos traded a 6th round draft pick for offensive tackle Jared Veldheer who previous played with the Arizona Cardinals and Oakland Raiders. Unless the Broncos have another trade in mind to acquire a tight end this should conclude the moves John Elway and the Broncos front office make until the Draft at the end of April. Jared Veldheer, assuming he is healthy should start at Right tackle for the team in the 2018 NFL season. The Broncos now only have a little less than 12 million in cap space. Running back CJ Anderson could be a victim of that number since none of his salary in 2018 is guaranteed. The Broncos still need a tight end, an inside linebacker, a corner, and a 3rd wide receiver to round out their roster. Even with the signing of Veldheer one could still argue they are not set at the tackle position. Quarterback Case Keenum will need to play at the level he did in 2017 and in the playoffs to make up for some of the deficiencies this team still has on offense. The next question is who will the Broncos draft at #5? Bake Mayfield, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, Quenton Nelson, Sequon Barkley, Bradley Chubb, or Minkah Fitzpatrick?
