Now that the NFL Free Agency period has finally begun the Denver Broncos made their signing of former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum official. He inked a 2 year 36 million dollar deal with 25 million guaranteed. Keenum will be speaking live in Denver on Friday. They also traded quarterback Trevor Siemian to the Minnesota Vikings with a 2018 draft in exchange for a 2019 6th round draft pick. Inside linebacker Todd Davis agreed to a new contract that will keep him in Denver for the next 3 seasons. The only outside signing for the Broncos today was the addition of cornerback Tramaine Brock with a 1 year 4 million dollar deal. Brock was with the Vikings last year, and played his entire career prior to that with the San Francisco 49ers. His best season came in 2016, and in 2015 Peyton Manning threw his record breaking 509th career touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas while Brock was in coverage. More NFL coverage to come tomorrow.
John Elway, & Gary Kubiak attended Baker Mayfield’s pro day in Oklahoma today, and are expected to attend Josh Rosen’s pro day as well later this week as they continue to evaluate QB’s for the upcoming NFL Draft.
