The Jaguars offense because one dimensional in 2017 when they lost WR Allen Robinson week one to an injury. Allen Hurns also struggled with injuries last football season, which pushed rookie wideout Keelan Cole onto the field earlier than expected, and forced Marqise Lee to become the #1 target. This offseason the team added Colts receiver Donte Moncrief, and drafted D.J. Chark and grabbed an undrafted rookie in Allen Lazard a big receiver starting to turn heads in training camp. D.J. Clark has the perfect blend of size and speed to become QB Blake Bortles second best friend on offense. His first besty will remain running back Leonard Fournette.
The defense was unstoppable last season, and again is stacked at all 3 levels. Calais Campbell, Yannick Ngakoue, Malik Jackson, Marcell Dareus, & rookie 1st round select Taven Bryan are one of the best groups in the league. Linebackers Myles Jack and Telvin Smith are great in coverage, and there’s no arguing Jalen Ramsey, & A.J. Bouye form one of the best CB tandems in the league. My only question is can SACKSONVILLE notch two 10 sack games again this season?
