It was a rough season for Denver Broncos fans. Broncos Country was divided starting in the 2017 offseason when John Elway hired Vance Joseph as the head coach instead of Kyle Shanahan who landed with the San Francisco 49ers. Then Denver went 4-0 in the preseason, and started 2-0 after defeating the Dallas Cowboys week 2. Even heading into the bye week the team was 3-1 and everyone believed they could be a contender. Then Trevor Siemian began to struggle, Brock Osweiler couldn’t fix things, and Paxton Lynch never developed. The defense was still very good, but not even Aqib Talib, Von Miller, Derek Wolfe, and Chris Harris Jr., could outplay the lack of offense the team was employing. The team lost 8 straight games, it’s worst losing streak in 50 years. After the season many thought Vance would be fired, but he stayed, and now everyone is on the fence about whether or not that is a good thing heading into the 2018 NFL season.
