The 2018 NFL Draft is rapidly approaching. Everyone from Mel Kiper, to Mike Mayock, to Walter Football, to my Mom, has their 30th mock draft out for consumption. We know many of the teams in the top 5 of this draft desperately need a quarterback. The Cleveland Browns, New York Giants & Jets, Denver Broncos, with the Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills looking to possibly trade up for Baker Mayfield or Josh Rosen, or Josh Allen or however the heck this plays out. Then you have the New England Patriots possibly looking to replace Tom Brady, and if a bunch of QB’s go early that may leave the true best players in this draft available at pick #5. Bradley Chubb, Quenton Nelson, Minkah Fitzpatrick & Termaine Edmonds could all be available later than their skill because of the early QB rush.
While NFL experts are arguing over who will go where, Brandon Perna of That’s Good Sports has simplified this process by mocking the draft with the 10 Worst Named Players for the 2018 Draft. These are the guys, based on their names alone are guaranteed to not have success at the NFL level coming out of the NCAA.
